Similar water reclamation, grey water can recycle used water for irrigation. Grey water uses the same waste as water reclamation with the exception of water from sewage. Unlike water reclamation, grey water does not purify the water through a biological process, but by using sand filters and the soil. After the water passes through the soil, it is filtered in a process very similar to rain water, it then flows into the groundwater where it can be reused again in the irrigation system.
